Bubbles, baubles and… neoprene pants?! Last night I hosted my second annual shopping party at Cynthia Rowley’s Bleeker street boutique. A mix of my clients and friends came out in the cold to warm up with some champagne and cozy clothes. Cynthia’s current collection features (among other things) a range of neoprene dresses and separates, inspired by her loyal love of surf culture. But don’t think that means that wetsuits will become de rigueur anytime soon. Instead, the funky material has been crafted into clever styles like printed leggings and figure flattering dresses – all of which are shockingly warm! I’m always hunting for warm, stylish clothes for winter – so I clearly snatched up a pair of the leggings immediately.
But there’s plenty more to the collection than surf and ski friendly wear. A few favorites of the evening included metallic t-shirts (shown in photo below) and a leather panel dress done in black and a warm, autumnal rust. And in case you’re curious: the winner of the shoe giveaway chose these sick lace up booties!
